help me with laptops

I need your help mylotters. Im not good in computers that why I came here to ask you what is good specs in a laptop that has good performance. I mean I like playing games like application in facebook. I dont like a laptop that hungs a lot. I wanna know what is bette laptop with specs "Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.40GHz Processor, 2GB DDR3 Memory, 250GB HDD SATA", "AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual Core ZM84 2.3GHz Processor / 2GB DDR2 Memory / 250GB SATA HDD", "Intel Pentium Dual Core T4500 2.3GHz Processor / 2GB DDR3 Memory / 320GB HDD SATA" and "Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13GHz Processor, 3MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB/ 2GB Memory/ 320GB HDD SATA" their prices ranges from $738-$749.
I also like to have 2 os if possible one linux and the other one is window 7. Hope you can help me. Thanks a lot in advance. God bless.

i think you should go for (Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13GHz Processor, 3MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB/ 2GB Memory/ 320GB HDD SATA) .............becouse intel prossesor always support windows and also the linux........and with a HDD like that you are not about to face any problem ...................

Oh angelbelle, all those terms in computer in the above description make me to feel really dizzy. For I don't have much knowledge on this. What I know a little is the bigger of processor and HDD we have is better than the one with the smaller ones. And DDR3 is more advanced than the DDR2. Anyway I prefer to ask for suggestion and get more useful info from the technician of pc shop, whom I'm familiar with. Or to get more information by web surfing.

I think u should not even consider AMD!! lol =D IT's way too slow and it's not suitable for games, especially when u require flash or whatever.. OThers such as intel Core Duo, will be good though..
Of course, the higher the processor, the faster your laptop will be, and thus it wont hang while playing.. hehe ^_^ PLus, never forget the graphic cards as those are what determines the picture quality.. hehe

hi i think u have a little mess over that and i think u have to wait for a min..and think what u have to do with things and it is sure u have to go through the plan and do the right thing what we want..and i think u go for the material what u want and dont see the cost so that it will be easy to buy the the things and make sure u are buying the right thing u want have fun..

i think you should go for "Compaq"and also "HP" laptops it has 250GB HDD "Intel Core 2" and 2.0GHz Processor and it has built in home premium window 7,and in my opinion it is the best for gaming and watching HD movies

im not good with computers either and mostly play games, stuff like mylot, facebook etc. so i get laptop to fit those needs. i dont do my banking or bookkeeping, pay bills online or anything like that i have an hp w/intel pentium and it suits my needs just fine i paid 549.00 at BEST BUY 7 months ago. before that i had a dell laptop i bought at wal-mart for 400.00 and it lasted 7 years before my games took up all its disc space. shop around you can find laptops from 350.00 plus ACER is a brand that will suit your needs and last for years to come, the only thing i dont like about the new laptop's is they all come thru w/ vista but im getting used to that, i do prefer XP.
