I will add Camiguin Province and Davao city to your list of beautiful places in the Philippines. I lived here in Davao city and our place is endowed with rich natural resources and breathtaking beaches with untouched coastlines, the Island Garden city of Samal, just few miles from the city of Davao, is one island you should not missed, it has so many fabulous and world class beaches and resorts, then there's a mountain resort in Davao, Eden Nature Park, is such an alluring gift of nature, beautifully carved in the slopes of mountains and surrounded with rolling hills, rugged terrains, wild trees and waterfalls.
Camiguin truly is one of the country's paradise-like island, this small province off the coast of Northern Mindanao has many spectacular tourist spots, a wonderful place to relax and unwind, the White Island and Katibawasan Falls are some of the magnificent sites in Camiguin.

instead of boracay i wanted to go to anawangin, zambales and caramoan island in camsur. i also wanted to check my father's hometown in Siargao and check the Cluod 9 waves. i believe it is still the surfing capital of the country. the truth is there are a lot of beautiful places here that i wanted to go to before touring other countries.
oh, by the way, banaue rice terraces if i remember it right when we went there back in 2002, is no longer a site to behold.
