As a member of many international sites i was transferring my earnings to the paypal a/c and from there to the my bank a/c in the India. But yesterday i was asked by the paypal in the section of withdraw fund " the purpose of transfer ". There is no relevant option given in the drop down arrow box. I visited the help center of paypal. There was written that now only indian exporters and sellers will be able to collect money through paypal and only by showing the purpose of transferring for the knowledge of the indian banks. Please guide me to solve this problem. What the Indian members shall do now?

ya io have the same problem i have contacted paypal for this and they replied that purpose code is necessary for the transactions in india. it has been made strict after the issue with RBI. and now paypal is only useful for businees people in india. they also replied that they are not transfering money for personal purpose in india and they also told that they will resolve this soon, but not resolved the problem with personal payment even after 2 months. so if you gets the trick to transfer money to bankaccount plese give me a personal message

Hi, paypal has suspended funds transfer from paypal to local banks recently due to the instructions. After that they have resumed the payments, however we are required to enter purpose codes while transferring. To know which purpose code you need to enter, check this paypal blog: https://www.thepaypalblog.com/2010/03/new-bank-withdrawal-instructions-for-our-customers-in-india/
