I publish my articles and stuffs to Triond and Bukisa. I know there are a lot a publishing sites out there and you just find the sites that cater your kind of writings the most. You can also post photos and recipes in Triond so it okay for me. May I ask how much you did you earn from your book in lulu.com?

You have the freedom to decide the price for your books. But the hard copy must cost more than the soft copy that is the e-book. Do log in you may get an idea. Bye Goodluck.

I haven't tried to write a novel yet, but I like to write nonfiction articles. My favorite topics are travel, art, and food. I usually publish them on Associated Content, Helium, Gather, and for travel, Igougo. There are many more writing sites online. You just need to explore, discover the place that suits your writing best, and then make the most of it. Self publishing has its pros and cons. I think that it becomes as much about marketing as it does writing when you use a company like Lulu. Good luck with your writing.
