I don't subscribe to our local paper. It never seems to cover the local, national and international news very well. Besides I can get what news I want from the local paper on line. Do you subscribe to your local paper or do you get most of your news from on line? The first site I check everyday is Yahoo News. What about you? Where do you get most of your news? Offline/online? Which is your primary source? Or do you look at numerous sites/papers? Thanks for responding.

My home page is fox, then I move on to drudge report, cnn, huffington, then the locals. Depends on time. I also listen to talk radio all day. I do not subscribe to any because I can get it online. If nothing else, I am thrifty! I like a wide mix so that I can form my own opinion.

Because I'm online so much during the day, that's why I use Yahoo. But when I watch TV or listen to the radio, they're usually turned to Fox. I use to read the Drudge Report and watch CNN, etc. but lately, I just haven't. It's almost like I'm "newsed-out". I get that way at times, where I just kind of get burned out with a topic and stop listening/watching. I think the health-care debates/arguments burned me out. Now, I'm like a day behind in most news; e.g., the oil spill in the Gulf, the bomb in NYC, etc. My sister watches NBC, ABC, etc., reads the Huffington Post, NYTimes, etc. She likes to hear/read a wide mix, but it doesn't change her opinion much. She's a staunch Conservative. But lately, she's better informed than I am! Have a great day.

I do still get the local paper. I have gotten out of the habit of reading the whole thing every day, and I may possibly discontinue it eventually. When I want online news I start with Yahoo...

I stopped getting the paper when I moved to my new house. I'd have to drive two miles everyday on our rock road to get it...so I passed. I don't miss it. I usually just check Yahoo and then go from there if there's something really interesting. Have a great day, Dawn.

Well, I have subscribed for a local newspaper ' Times of India', and I am used to this newspaper from years. Even though, I don't get time to read someday but I never miss to read the headlines. Although, times now is my favourite news channel where I get all the updates going on all over world and yes, yahoo news is also ok. Whenever I sign in to my yahoo account I get the fresh news... I take also the Yahoo! News rss feed and the Arts column rss feed from the New York Times. Primary source is Newspaper and Internet.

Airakumar, thank you for responding. When I did get the paper, I found I rarily had time to read everything, and when I did find time, it took hours to read it because I read everything. You're the second responder who's talked about RSS feeds. I'm going to have to look in to that more. I don't currently subscribe. Thanks, again, for responding and have a great day.

I receive a local newspaper, and I am using a feed aggregator to get the headlines of my national newspapers. I take also the Yahoo! News rss feed and the Arts column rss feed from the New York Times.

I haven't signed up for any of the rss feeds. I've thought about it, but I already spend so much time reading the news/playing online that I don't have time to make any "news" myself (or do any work around the house). Thanks for responding and have a great day.
