Does the fortune teller in the sims 2 annoy you?

In the sims 2,there is always some fortune teller,that arrives at you're door first thing when you move in and when ever.She says a long paragraph about how she can help you fall in love,then my sim,will not greet her so I can ask her to leave,it was a all night project to make my sim great her and he was just like ewwwww...with this weird face.Then when he finally greeted her I yelled at her to get out,and my sim is like bye bye all friendly.Its weird,and she is sooo annoying.Does she annoy and harass you about falling in love too?
