What do u think of the owl city?

I know it's been a year since you posted this... but when Owl City first hit the scene I wasn't too thrilled about it. I liked the music cause it was fun and danceable, but the lyrics just struck me as silly and cutesy... and I'm someone who likes my songs more on the profoud side. It was refreshing to hear "Fireflies" on the radio though, because it was sweet and lighthearted where most hits were really "dark" and "edgy" and I hated most of those. But a few days ago I heard his new single "Galaxies" for the first time, and I'm totally in love with it. I've been playing it over and over again, and the rest of his stuff is starting to grow on me as a result. So I like Owl City now! I think there's nothing "simply bad" about him.

me too, i havent listened some albums of owl city. But i really like the song fireflies. It is not rock,but it makes my heart calm, it refreshes my mind. And i think many of us know it, coz it is so famous song of them..

I am not the biggest fan. It seems like one man and a keyboard dont really do it for me. I would rather listen to a real sound other then a bunch of noises made my a keyboard.
