Here, in China, is the May Day, I have had planned to go to the country to have a nice holiday, without the laptop, of cource. However, just on the night before going, I got a msg from my boss, read 'Please prepare a 12 pages PPT about XXX and it is an emergence, sorry for bother your vacation but it is for our team, so I have to ask you to work overtime on May Day'. How frustrating it is! I can't help to yell at sky: 'My poor holiday!!!!' Anyway, I will have to give up the plan and put myself into the work. Deas, How will you handle this occasion?

Well, that may be frustrating since you already have a plan on how to spend your holiday. I might as well get mad if that happened to me. But if I have no appointments or plan for holiday, I would definitely go for the work. Here in the Philippines, working on a holiday means double pay. :)

When i'm given a job for the holidays, i'll accept it. I know they rate you twice when you work on holidays but i'm not sure if it's standard to all companies. If it is, it's still extra money to me and it's an opportunity to earn more. :)
