Its do or die situation for srilanka, its their second match today, this will decide their future in this t20. although Zimbawe is not a very strong team, Zimbawe is being considered as the dark horses in the tournament. They have already beaten australia and pakisthan(2 strong international teams) in their warmup match. they won the two warm up matches they played. so srilanka cant take them lightly, its a must win situation for lanka. If zimbawe wins today they will be through to the next stage so zimbawe will try their best to win the match and ensure their spot in suoer eight.

I think Srilanka will have to fight and stay in the tournament.Zimbabwe is in good form.Srilanka can not take it lightly as u mentioned. Beating Australia will be big Psychological boost for Zimbabwe. I think Srilanka Should drop Dilshan who is not playing very well.I think Jayasuriya should be promoted up the order so that if he fires Zimbabwe is in all sorts of troubles. I think Murali will be the key player for Srilanka and Mathews also.

Obviously its very difficult match to Srilanka because they have to get good openings and then only able to show a good score and bowling should be consistent other wise Zimbabwe will smash them like anything. Just we have to wait and watch tonight what will be the result.

ya srilanka has to play well. Dilshan is out form, that will be a worry for lanka. jaysurya is also not good with the bat so there batting also have problems. the only thing they can trust is the good form of jayawardane

In my earlier post i had written that SL might win the tornament but now I think, with murali not playing the match, will crash out of the tournament. Zimbabwe is such a fantastic side in t20 that it can surely cause upset at any point of the tournament. Win over Pakistan and Australia have really boosted thier confidence and at the same time cemented thier image as astrong team

In 20-20, there are really no favorites. It's like Russian roulette. One good innings or one good bowling spell can take a match on its head. You saw that a couple of Afghan batsmen made runs against India. If India had lost two or three early wickets due to bad shotmaking, we could have been in trouble against them. Similarly, if South Africa had got the early run outs and held Raina's catches, we could have lost the game. So, it all boils down to luck as well as skill.
