My mother always rubbed alcohol soaked cotton cloth on babies gums when they are teething. These days that is totally unacceptable. My young friend that I helped with potty training, now thinks I'm a baby genius. She has absolutely no common sense. I don't want to give her any of the old folks remedies and get her into some kind of child abuse trouble. What do you modern women recommend for teething? This mother is on the verge of child abuse.
