What's in a bag?

I have just recently listened to an interview of one of my favorite stars and she said she was surprised on her birthday with a gift from her boyfriend, a bag that happens to be the most expensive bag ever. So I searched far and wide to determine which bag is the most expensive? The Birkin bags have always been the most expensive handbags in the world, sporting price tags that often runs to a hundred thousand dollars. Birkin's Japanese designer, Ginza Tanaka, has released a 1.63 million bag, wow, a platinum handbag that features 2,182 diamonds. I am speechless.

for some, the bag that they carry serves as a status symbol. others just like collecting expensive bags, just like any other collector (e.g. watch collector). i am one who buys designer bags not only for the brand but for the quality too. and i dont have a lot. i only a few quality pieces that have been with me for years, and i'm sure they will still be as durable as ever in the coming years.
