No promotion? Dont know why?

Well maybe there are a lot of other employees who does that as well. If thats the case then you might wanna step up your game a bit more.

Maybe you lack the credntials... you should upgrade... Or maybe there are most favored in your company... Are you up for the promotion? check it out there might be some requirements needed... Your best wasn't good enough... Why they haven't considered it?

Being industrious is not enough. I think you have got to have the skills your company requires in order for you to be promoted. You may have given your sacrifices but you will need to know that your company may not have the opened position you are wishing to have once you get promoted. Have you even talked to your manager about this? He will need to give you an assessment as to how you are doing now. You just need to make sure that your goals and objectives are in line with your company and if it matches and the soon as there is a position you can fill in, you will have the promotion you want. Work hard - but you also have to balance your life.

I don't think giving your best effort and spending lots of time in your work will give the passport for promotion. You need to have all the qualifications to be able to get promoted. Skills and ability are vital. It isn't easy to promote an employee because if you are the manager, you are just putting yourself into a big turmoil when the one you promoted fails to perform his task efficiently. Everyone aims for a raise and a promotion, not only you. The people around you are aiming for the same goal. The best thing to do is to be always updated. If you are trying to be promoted into a certain level, try to deliver your current work as if your at that level, I don't mean to act like your supervisor, just work like your are the best among the best, like when making a report - make it clean and flawless. Show them that you wanted to be in their place, show them your enthusiasm, your desire. Conduct yourself with pride, passion and belief. Take pride in everything that your do. Physical appearance is also important, try to look at your best always. If the boss didn't notice what you were doing to contribute to the success of the company, at least you can say that you have done your best and you have no regrets!. Enjoy life. If it wasn't your it wasn't yours. If today is not your time, there is always tomorrow.
