Do you often change the password of our email account or any other similar?

It is said a good habit to change your password often. But I am not so willing to change any of my passwords. Have you ever lost the password and could not get into your account(i.e email account)any more? I once did loss the password of my email, and could not recover it by answering questions. I have no choice but to register a new email.

no i try not to change my password as much as possible. i only do so when i think that there's other people who knows it aside from me. it's hard to change passwors because you might forget them just like my security code in my cellphone. sad..

Agree with you, it is hard for me to change the password often. I think it is hard for most of us to remember too many things about life, especially for those related to numbers, such as phone numbers and passwords.

definitely and the sad part is.. if you forget them, the chances of being able to use you email or phone or account again would be very little.. it's gonna be a waste..

If I were to change my passwords every so often,it would really confuse me.I choose a password about something that no person alive knows about me.I never change it.I choose secret questions about things no one knows about me also.Never pick answers that someone may know.

I have the same idea as yours, but sometimes I have to tell the password to somebody to let he/she do something for me. And sometimes, I have to input my password on other people's computer. In this case, I will think about to change the password, but I could not find out so many private meaningful passwords.

I rarely changed passwords for free email providers as I normally set strong passwords in the beginning. I'd rather prefer to change the passwords, if I know someone is on a lookout for my email address. Although, I set a unique password for each site, I have never lost it as I remember them well. And yes, even I don't know the questions I answered when I first created my email way back years ago But I don't plan on forgetting any of my passwords...

Have strong memory is a good thing. And if you always use the same password, then you will not lost it so easy.

It is not my habit to change my email password because I am a little bit busy , I prefer to stick to one password but when in term of security I open my account in my computer most of the time.

It seems many people are not willing to change their password very often. Thanks for your opinion.
