what is the main reason for the extinction of tigers and white tigers ...reason????????

It is my understanding that they have become almost extinct due to the killing of them for fur, and some cultures use certain parts of their bodies for medicinal remedies like their paws or something like that. Plus I am sure destruction of their habitat due to population growth, and nation development has been hurtful to the species as well. They say the strongest survive, and seems man kind is definitely proving so far to be the strongest species.

Hunting. They're protected and yet people still go out and kill them for their beautiful fur coats and for fun. Also there could be a lack of food to sustain them with people hunting what they'd normally eat. Environmental changes, losing the land they live on hurts too. And with fewer tigers around to mate, there's fewer babies. It just spirals out of control.
