I'm planning to open an ecurrency exchange. I have alertpay, liberty reserve and paypal. I'm hoping to charge 1.15 if you want to exchange paypal, And 1.10 if you want to exchange LR or AP.. Is my rate low or high? Also what is my safe guard against people who file dispute after I send my exchange?

Thanks my rate is not low. Its between 5 to 15%.. But usually I do exchange from zero to 12% only..sometimes zero if I have too much funds in this ecurrency while on other one I have none. But I never increase my rate more than 12% even though my funds are critical low. I don't follow supply and demand if the supply is low I only charge up to 12% but if the supply is high I lower it down to 0.

Your idea is nice, but not possible because PayPal does not permit to use exchangers and will freeze your account. Alertpay allows tranfers only to a few (7) exchangers authorized by them. You must ask an authorization from AlertPay. The list of exchangers allowed by AlertPay is here : http://helpdesk.alertpay.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=219&nav=0,1 You can open an exchanger for Liberty Reserve. One site found a tricky and smart way to exchange AlertPay and PayPal using LR as a pivot between members accounts : http://exchangezone.com/Welcome I think that you can learn a lot just by visiting this site. Look also at the exchange rates of the exchangers allowed by AlertPay. Your exchange rate is too low : an exchanger is not a philanthropist .

I do agree. That why I only charge small fee. I still earn even with small fee. Actually before I'm looking for an exchanger site to exchange my LR to AP or to PP. But I realize every time I transfer I pay. That why I look for person who need LR or AP or PP just to minimize expenses. Then I realize theirs many takers. That why I decide to open a personal exchanger. My rate is enough to cover the expenses. But when theirs so many who want to exchange then I will increase the rate to control it.. So far I need members. That why. I will only limits my trasaction below 300 dollars in each account.. Because more than that a month ap and pp will get suspecious... I will ask ap soon how to be an affialate. Mean time. I will transact on personal level only in pp...
