does your job accord with your major?

My job does not accord with my major.I have worked for three years and I used to have several jobs.But I never had a job accord with my major.My major is law.But now I work in a company.I do purchase.I know nothing about my future,I am afraid about my future,in fact I do not want to think about it.

my major is ecology. but after i got the master degree, i worked as a sales-person in a company which is nothing connectted with my major. but it is ok now,'cause i come back to college to a phd study. i hope i can get a job accord with my major later

For me, not at all. I'm going to school for Criminal Justice and a medley of other minors..And I work two close-to-minimum-wage part time jobs that have nothing to do with what I want to be or do when I'm done with school. I find it unfortunate, though, when you graduate college and can't find a job that's relevant to your major or field of study. I think that's sad.

When I was in college I was a biology major. However, instead of pursuing a career in my field, I started my family instead shortly after I got done with college. I have absolutely no regrets about the decision that I made. My brother, on the other hand has a master's degree in civil engineering and would love to be able to work in his field but after two years of looking for a job in this field he gave up and is now working in a factory because he had to have a job. He doesn't like what he is doing.

My job doesn't accord with my job,too.But i like my current job and I never regret giving up my majot that took me four years to learn it.I work hard and want to acquire more experience and get a new offer next year.

my first job was in accord with my major, i quite enjoyed it coz it was not only very challenging but also afforded me to travel (usually on my own) to different places in our country, at company's expense. however, it was quite demanding and demanded most of my time. for personal reason, i went back to my hometown and was offered a job same as the first. months later i was given a job, much different from my major. However, through experience, trainings and my own research, i am quite able to handle the job..i enjoy my present work for it offers me a variety of exposures, much, much more broader and wider than what i majored in college..i graduated from BS Accountancy but my work now is in human resource development and administrative development..maybe i am just lucky, or maybe my training in my major field had also given me the insights and values i now applies in handling my work..

..hi.. yes, my job is very much associated with my major field.. I am so thankful that I was able to apply my course after graduation.. I would say I'm really blessed and fortunate.. but right now, I wan to venture to other field also.. I feel like I want to learn more about other fields..
