The Very Much Similar Discussions

Since the site seems so dull at this moment, I tried searching using the mylot search box, for some important happenings in the country. In five days, we are having the much awaited, first-ever computerized nationwide elections. Got to be luckier this time as I also received another Rewards for using the search box. 
So, I've searched for keywords, like "josie dela cruz", "filipino", "comelec" and others. And to my surprise, two very similar discussions displayed in the results. I think though that other one did not copied the other one. Besides, they are both posted 4 years ago and both members are not anymore active, since their profiles say, "_____ has had no activity for the last 60 days."
Have you ever encountered discussions which are very much similar with each other?

Do you think there is a violation with any of those discussions? They still remain up cause the admin let them be or just no one reported it?

Hi Neil,
Yes there are a lot of friends that sometimes I look at their profiles and they haven't been active for a number of days sometimes going baxk a year, yet their discussions are still there. Wether or not this is a violation of myLot I am not sure but am also sure that myLot do know about this. In a sense I think they will keep their pages/discussions up incase the member comes back...am glad you are doing well on the tasks though...LoLo

said they leave them as lots of times they have life problems such as I had and i was out for 11 months but managed to come back, now here in this tiresome retirement center. i am so glad they did not take my account away, myson signed in for me at the library while we were trying to find a place to live after having becoming homeless. they seem to care for all of us and that is really nice I think.

@littleowl. i also still believe that they are still up cause they've got no violations. i just hope those inactive members will come back soon.
@hatley. leaving mylot for a long time, without even logging-on once in 3 months will forfeit our earnings. have you experienced that when you were absent for 11 months?

I think that was just a coincidence. Admin is a good egg !!
No,no violation of terms in my book. I too have searched with the mylot search and have been rewarded.
Don't worry about it. It's not that important.

they are just not active.

If they have been posted 4 years ago, and is still around, I think admin must have given their green light otherwise if they found there was a violation, it would have been deleted then. I think both have the same sentiments about the political scenario of your country.

hi neildc I really think since the posters are obviously gone that mylot admins is not going to really care as they are probably not that similar in their approach to the topic. I am sure mylot admins has a setof criteria they go by on old discussions like that. I hate to report on something that old unless its really insulting in some way.

The discussions you are talking about have been deleted so I had no way to look at them. I’ve come across duplicate topics before which have either not picked up by admin or not been reported. Sometimes there could be two discussions which deal with the same issues but are complied differently and may include other angles thus making the topic more interesting and I would like to think that these are the ones which are allowed to stay.

They are so many discussion who look like the same but yes there are few repeated discussion. I think its not deleted because the admin not realize it because no one reported it. I just few month here but I find it so many discussion repeated from rhe previous one.
