What is life for? It's a song title, but now it's a discussion!

Each day, many children in the different part of the world are delivered by loving mothers. Each child is gifted with life. Each one of them is gifted with love. Each one of them is privilege to live. Children are nurtured. They are taught of many things. And lucky are those who are privilege of many things. Many of them me enjoy what life is. Other would suffer. Other may just long what other’s have. Each of them will grow and each of them will face the world. Each of them will fulfill the purpose of life. Yet, does everyone fulfill it before he looses the chance? Death is certain! We die. However, we do not know when. Everyday, we are struggling to live. We are struggling to fulfill what must be done. But when can we exactly say we have done it? This is the image of life somehow, simple it may seem. Yet, when we go through it, it is not as placid as the Pacific. It’s complicated. Two of my fellows in the neighborhood just passed away. I am not related to both of them. But it’s our nature to share what other feel. I am sorry. I am sad. If I do not grieve as they do, but I know I feel the sorrow. This perhaps the summary of life: born, live and die. Yet the question is do they fulfill the purpose before they leave? Won’t they regret they do not? Or are they happy they did?

hi prime deep so deep. Life I think is up to each of us just what we make it and do we succeed or fail. We will maybe never really know that answer but I have spent most of my eighty years in helping professions, many years as a nurse's aide, and many as a page in a library. nothing spectacular but sometimes us quiet ones succeed to what we want to do and if thats not good enough for others, that is their hard luck. I think most of us do the best we can , and the best we can is probably good enough for our Father , and if he is pleased then we must be happy too.
