Okay here's is the story: Jobert Sucaldito on his DZMM program attacked Wowowee particularly the Willie of Fortune Program for featuring student who has a grade of 75-79. Jobert's point is this should not be the case since it might encourage other kids that lower grades is just fine. Yesterday Willie could not control his emotion and attacked Jobert. He even challenged the management of ABS-CBN that if they will not take action and kick out jobert he will resign from the program. What do you think of this? Is Willie going too far as to challenge the management. Will the ABS-CBN give in to his request?

Jobert actually has a point. Media is very influential specially Willie's program. Willie should be mature enough and be open to feedbacks like this. I think he is being childish by challenging the management and threatening them that he will resign. Willie has an attitude and he needs to keep his feet on the ground before it's too late.

Yah, I agree, As a public figure Willie should be open to criticism. Willie has really an attitude even before, he's cocky. But we cannot ignore the fact that Willie is the biggest earners for the ABSCBN company and noon time show will not be the same if he's gone. This is a very difficult for the company to decide.

Willie shouldn't open the topic about jobert on AIR. If he is really fed up with the attacked of Jobert, well he may ask the assistance of the company ABS CBN and so both of them can settle their feud in private. Also he must not challenged the company of resigning, as if he does not have a respect with the higher position in that company ABS CBN. I'm not in the side for Jobert, but Jobert's job is in media and to be a critic, so Willie must be open to criticism.

Well I think it's ok if he will just defend his show publicly, but going too far to challenge he's management on a national TV is too arrogant.

I have read in numerous forums messages about the so-called incident. Sadly, more than 80% are against Willie. Some even said that if he will does resign, he will support him all the way. Willie should keep in mind that even if his show is bringing lots of money to the station, he still does not have the right to ask the management between him and Jobert. If he owns the TV station, only then he has the right to make such demand.

i think that the both parties should talked regarding the matter. they are both wrong in a way that jobert does not think that there are staff in wowowee that who think about what kind of participants who will join on the show. willie is wrong too because he lose his temper.

The reason why I don't like to watch Wowowee is not just because I don't like the whole 'feel' of the show, but also because I don't like the host. I'm not surprised if there are lots of issues against Willie or the show for that matter because I honestly I don't see any sense of it all. Some people tell that Willie is a 'plastic' (and I believe so). Actually I don't are about this issue or any issue that has to do with him. But I think Willie has to show the real him to the public and stop fooling the people around.

Very well-said! Lolz. Yes, a lot of people will be happy if he resigns and there are also people who will feel sad. But I will be one of the many who will feel happy if he resigns. I don't think abs-cbn deserves such an arrogant employee as he. In this times, the viewers also deserves a tv star who has a character opposite of what willie has.

I would be the happiest person if Willie resigns. As Nike says "Just do it." I don't get what his problem is, I swear. Who does he think he is, issuing an ultimatum to his bosses?! I am sure that Wowowee will survive his departure. In fact, I am sure of it. Does he have a franchise on this show? If ABS-CBN folds on this issue, well, I am never going to watch any Channel 2 show again (I don't actually, just the news but I still prefer the news on Channel 7). He is a brat who cannot stand criticism. He has a big ego and the sad thing is, he is the only one who thinks he is funny.

Attacking willie personaly and/or habitually is really not good, however, willie should not react that way... Why should he talk about that issue in fromt of the TV? Why not resolve the issue behind camera? Willie looks at himself so high, why would he dare the management? Why make ABS CBN choose between him and jobert? And to ask the management to kick jobert out??? That is very arrogant! If he has issues with his work he should talk straight to the people concern. Where do you think he'll be if ABS CBN didn't give him a BIG break? Who is he before? What does he have? He owe it all to ABS CBN.

well, the s.o.b. should resign and be banned from television, even the entire media. he has gone over his mien because he thinks having a lot of money really made him. nah... he only got lucky, but he has nothing to show between his ears. otherwise, he won't be doing what is he doing -- making fun, also pun, of people on national (worldwide). he is also one sexually perverted animal who takes advantage of his co-hosts and other women attracted to his money, not his brain, because he doesn't have any, nor his looks, which vicky bello only enhanced... a thrash will always be thrash and no amount of money can polish it... willie revillame is the epitome of ingratitude!

Willie Revillame is such an arrogant and conceited person,i can say! What does he mean when he challenges the management to choose between him and Sucaldito? He's not the only celebrity who can run an afternoon show, even Pokwang can do it without him.

Agreed..that is what I think of him too, arrogant and conceited. Let's face it, Willie has the charisma that makes the masses loves him. When Willie was kick out in MTB the rating significantly dropped. That's why the station gives him a chance because they knew Willie can earn a lot for them. This is very hard for the management to decide.

I can't wait to see Willie resign. He's being too much arrogant and really annoys me. I hope he does resign, it would be a great loss to him, and that would teach him.

Yeah right! He is so feeling! Everything go to his head! He even said straight and clear "there are other networks out there"... WOW!!! He is very proud and arrogant! He must be very thankful to ABS CBN, just imagine where would he be right now if ABS didn't give him a chance? He owe everything to ABS! Didn't he do that before with the wake of our late Cory Aquino? There are things that he should not discuss or talk about in fromt of the camera... He must talk to the people concern.

I like Wowowee but I think Willie getting affected with Jobert to that extent that he wants him fired is super-UBER childish. Willie should just be more mindful of his actions. Jobert has a point and Willie over-reacted. Now we know WowoWillie can be a bully. (That rhymes! Hehe.)

Willie is a good entertainer; I'm gonna credit the guy for that--he has so much impact to the Fiipino people specially to the lower masss, since most of his discussions and rave caters to this group. But one thing that he has forgottten is that, he has a a social responsibility. He is a public person. If he understands the weight of the situation of what he does in --"jobert sucaldito"incident--he might perhaps reconsider his thoughts and see the grave thing he has done. Jobert Sucaldito is just using his rights as a news caster--to uphold the truth and just. Now where is this resignation letter?

I think everything has gone to Willie's head! He's become arrogant now that he's on top and he really thinks big of himself. Let's see in the future when he's already a faded star. Anyway, yes, Jobert has a point. I actually would admire his action because even if DZMM and ABS-CBN are of the same company, Jobert was transparent and objective to attack someone who is in a sense a co-worker of some sort despite the transchannel competition. If I was Willie, I would be hurt too. But Willie telling his company to remove Jobert or he will resign is just proof of how arrogant he has become. He is truly an asset to the station but using that in this situation is just wrong. He could just tell the management to do something about it but no, he plays dirty and uses things like this to his advantage and manipulating/threatening the station, more likely, his bosses. I try to be objective myself too but now, I totally have lost respect for the man. As for that episode, it didn't strike me that it let students think that it's okay to not give their best shot in their studies but Jobert pointing it out makes me think about how wrong it can be. I just thought it gave those students a shot on something else like being able to join the game. I did see in that episode though how loving the parents of those children are but they really ought to study harder.

I don't know what history he and jobert has, but I do think that it was over the top to do that on air. He could have just made his appeal, no matter how arrogant it seemed, personally to the management of ABS CBN. What exactly did Jobert say about the show? I have no idea about this really.

I hope ABS-CBN would give in to Willie's challenge. I really don't have a penchant for this guy. Maybe he thinks the kids that he encouraged are part of Villar's models. You know this Revillame has that concept that if you belong to the "masa" crowd you have that "kawawa effect" quality and because of that people will keep on giving you donations. Jobert is right; kids should be motivated to enhance their talents and skills so that they would not rely on other people.

Just read the article about this awhile ago. Yes, Willie has really gone too far. I mean, why should he challenge the management that much just because of a comment which has a point. I'm sure that Jobert's opinion just represents the opinion of other Filipinos out there. Although Willie's show is aimed to mainly entertain the televiewers, it is very obvious that the media has a big influence in our lives. Therefore, responsible broadcast-journalism should likewise be observed regardless the orientation or type of the show. Willie can air his side in a professional manner. But challenging the management that much? I don't think it's fair. Another thing, Willie touches the hearts of the mass, he has that charisma, he should think on what he is going to say publicly beforehand.

Is Willie man enough to resign? I don't think so. He is just too much blah! blah! blah! He will not leave ABS-CBN. But if he true to his words, why not just resign instead of letting ABS-CBN choose between him and Jobert.
