Buying an appartment...

...do you think good times are running actually to buy an appartment? The financial crisis provoces that many people cannot afford the payments of their property and ought to sell it. Others are giving up their appartments so the banks are filling their safes with deeds of the appartments instead of money. So much more appartments are offered for sale and as no people are buying appartments now, rates of those properties for sale have gone down and actually you can get big and nice properties for half price. So, do you think it's a good oportunity to buy right now? Would you buy an appartment now?

If i could afford to buy property now then I would certainly do it. As you have said, prices are very low right now and finding the right place is easy. Currently it is a buyers market which is bad news for home owners. I think the real opportunities lie within homes that have already been taken by the banks. I know it's not a good time for those who have had to hand in their keys, but as a buyer you have to look at getting the best house for the best possible price in the best possible location.

That's certain, it's a good timefor those who are able to afford these moments to buy one or maybe even more properties, maybe they could rent it or them until time changes and rates will go up so another time will come in the future where you can resale it or them for than you paid for. In my opinion, it could be a good business.

yeah, the prices of the houses/apartments really went down in the financial crisis, but there area still some areas where the homes are still too expensive, just like in my country and I really don't know why
