baby name

Each day, I am getting more excited because in a month or two, we will have our angel. Unfortuneately, we haven't decided about his name. First, I suggested Joshua Andrei Miguel but her mommy refused to give a 3-word name to him and suggested Andrei Matthew or Matthew Andrei or Joshua Matthew. With those three names, I prefer Matthew Andrei... Does anyone can suggest a name with initial AM or MA?

Hi there Asdomencil! I understand why you're so excited. Actually, when I was pregnant, on the second month, I am already decided what the name of our baby will be. I was expecting the baby is a boy even though I haven't gone under ultrasound yet. I don't know, that was half-wishing, though. But my husband and I agreed to name him after his grandfathers. About your baby's name, I like Matthew Andrei the most, too.

Thanks for the comment nanayangel. Matthew Andrei is far from the names of his grandfathers/grandmothers as well as his parents..hehehe... Matthew came from his mommy's name Mayette, which starts with "M" while Andrei came from my name Allan, that starts with "A"... Before, Joshua came from the fisrt letter of July, which is the expected month he will be delivered as well as our anniversary.

At least they were based on initials, right? Thank you very much for choosing my post as the best response.

Congratulations to you because your dear little boy will be born soon. I like the name Matthew Andrei very much indeed. Then your son could be called MA. I am not so keen on the name Joshua. However I like the shortening of it which is Josh. I suggest the names Martin Andrei or Andrei Michael. Good luck choosing your son's name. My sons have the initials RAZ and LAR which I think are cute.

yup, a 3-word name is really long. i know because i have it ;) but joshua andrei miguel does have nice initials, JAM. out of the three names, i like andrei matthew the best. with joshua matthew, i prefer matthew josh. but then again, it's your baby :)

I never understood the spellings that some parents can come up with. I've seen names like Michael and Connor butchered so many ways, it's not funny. Personally, I think you will be fine if you drop the i on Andrei. That makes it look like a girl's name. Andre would be better IMO. But I also like Joshua Matthew. Nothing wrong with going with a traditional name and not branching out and caving in to the names that end in en/on/in/len/lon/sen/son trends.

I'd look at the initials Would MA look better with the last initial or would AM look better? My sons initials are LUD and I don't like that now but at the time of naming him I didn't think of the initial as an issue.

How about Michael Anthony or Anthony Michael. Then there is Matthew Aaron or Alex Matthew. Matthew Arian works too. Let us know what you decide and may God bless all of you and especially the baby.
