I used to be a real wimp with regards to theme park rides, I wouldn't go onthem at all.
Then I went and had a son when I was 45!!
From a very young age he was mad on theme parks and was always looking rides up on the internet.
When he was five we took him and his sister (then aged 12) to Disneyland Paris, this was the first of many, many visits there.
The first ride we went on there was Big Thunder Mountain, which is located in Frontierland, Jack was mad keen to go on it, my husband and daughter wouldn't go so it was down to mum!!!
We got on with great excitement, but as soon as it took off Jack was petrified and cried all the way round - I LOVED it, I was hooked !!
We have been back to Disneyland Paris many, many times and I have been on all the rides there; how to pick a favourite, that's hard!!
I think Thunder Mountain will always remain a favourite, I still love it, but I also enjoy Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, in Adventureland, Space Mountain in Discoveryland but my favoutite of all is Aerosmith Rocking Roller Coaster in the Studio. The speed is immense you start off going from 0 - 100 in less than 3 seconds, there rare hair pin turns and over the top flips all in the dark with Aerosmith singing all the way - it is a fantastic experience.
We have also visited Port Aventura in Salou, Spain where there are some other really good rides, we loved the roller coaster - Dragon Khan, and the drop ride Hiurakan Condor but our very favourite was the Furious Baco.
This was even faster than Aerosmith 0 - 130 in less than 3 second with your feet dangling below you as you do a corkscrew and then go at speed over the lake.
Which ride do you love or are you not a lover of theme park rides?

I'm fond of nerve racking and stomach crumbling rides. I don't really have a favorite because I find it hard to choose which one is the best. I like Roller Coaster, Octopus,Starflyer, Water rapids, Viking, and many more.:D I also like bump cars:D haha..:D
