Inter Milan chasing for treble this season is one step closer. Yesterday, the Nerazzuri beat the team from the capital in the Coppa Italia to have their first trophy of the season. A goal from Diego Mil on the 40 minutes was enough for Inter Milan to bring back the trophy they last won in season 2005/06 after being a bridesmaid to AS Roma in the last two seasons. The game was played at the bad tamper with Francesco Totti being sent off after kicking on Mario Balotelli, five minutes from time . This is a sweet victory for Inter Milan because the game was played at the Olimpico Stadium, a home for AS Roma. Inter Milan also looking for their five title in five seasons. The Nerazzuri is currently lead the Serie A table with 76 points from 36 games. AS Roma come closed at second place, two points adrift with two games left to played. Inter Milan would face Cheivo at home and Siena away from home. AS Roma, meanwhile, would need to wait for Cagliari visit and then go to Cheivo to finish their season. The title can be decide this week if Inter Milan could take all three points from Cheivo and AS Roma fail to collect any point from Cagliari. Inter Milan would look for their dreamed trophy against bayern Munich in the Champion League final. The final would be played at Bernabue Stadium, a stadium belong to Real Madrid. This is Inter Milan first appearance for the top European club competition more then 30 years. Bayern Munich might has a lot of experiences in the Champion League competition but Inter Milan has their own "Special One" weapon and it has been proven before when they manage to beat Chelsea and Barcelona when everyone give no hope for them. What do you think about this/ can Inter Milan make their dream come true? Can Jose Mourinho pull another magic and win Champion League trophy for Inter Milan after he did it when he was a coach for Porto?

Hi Devilova & adhyz, Love him or hate him. The truth is Jose Mourinho is the best tactical stratigies manager available. Not only once he has prove it but more. He did it at Porto, Chelsea and now at Inter Milan. Previous manager only manage to handle a local challenge but Jose Mourinho did it at top European competition. He knew what he is doing and always give his best even though he openly admit he does not like Italian football/administration. He do his job perfectly and Inter Milan owner would do anything to keep him there especially if Inter Milan can beat Bayern Munich at Bernabeu stadium. Both of you might hate him now as he train the opponent team and not the team that you support. But I believe you would love him if he train your team. It is normal. I believe Inter Milan would get at least another title this season.

I think you can almost guarantee a double as I do not see Roma chasing them down in the Serie A title as well. So that means the Copa Italia and Serie A title are more or less assured. The champions league is going to be an intriguing battle between the teacher and the apprentice when Van Gaal and Mourinho go head to head. I would think that Inter would start the favorites on paper, but on the field the Germans will be hard to beat!! Cheers! Ram

Yes, as far as the club is concerned you can say that Bayern have been there and done that, so they would be more accustomed to the big time. But remember as far as players are concerned, none on both sides have featured in such a big time match as it was nearly a decade back when Bayern last reached the finals. On the other hand, Mourinho has been there and done that, so he knows exactly how to play his team in such big moments. For me, I think Inter are the favorites, but there is very little between the two teams. Cheers! Ram

Yeah ... I think none of the current Inter Milan and Bayern Munich player has been play at he Champion League final before. But, both manager has been there and won it. Jose Mourinho won the Champion League trophy with Porto in 2003/04 season while Louis Van Gaal did it with Ajax Amsterdam in 1994/95 season. The winner would be decided on who did less mistake and can take every chance to score. Those who control the mid field might get a greater chance to win this season trophy.

Hi ram, I believe it too. It is hard for AS Roma to win the title this season because there is only two games left and Inter Milan also has a superior goal difference. So, Inter Milan would still be able to win the title even if they draw in one of their remaining games. For Champion League, I believe it would be Bayern Munich as a favorite because they has an experience playing at the final, while this is the first fial for Inter Milan after more then 30 years. Both teams have a few players that can change the game. Unfortunately, Bayern Munich would be without Frank Ribery due to suspension. I hope both teams can play an open and entertaining game.

Hi adhyz, Yeah ... it is hard to admit that our team is not as good as other team especially if it is the team that we hate the most. Only a bold man can do it. And I want to say congratulation because you can do it. As long as the final whistle does not being blow, AS Roma still has a chance to steal the scudetto from Inter Milan. It is hard to to do because AS Roma does not have a control of it but depend on others to do their job. It is also too late for them because all the teams only has two games left to play. AS Roma need to win all their remaining games but Inter Milan still can win the title if they win one and draw one of their remaining games. But, nothing is impossible in football and an upset can happen.

Hi icecube, I believe so. At least Inter Milan would finish the season with two trophies. The best chance for them now is the Serie A title. Inter Milan can afford a draw in one of the remaining games because they have a better goal different compare to AS Roma. Inter Milan has plus 39 goal difference while AS Roma only has plus 24. It would be a massive task for AS Roma to score such many goals to leapfrog Inter Milan base on goal different.
