There has been successfull #1 draft pick in the NBA, this players forever change the face of the NBA. There's been Magic Johnson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq, King James but there are also player who did not live up to their expectation like Kwame Brown, Michael Olowakandi, Pervis Ellison or perhaps Greg Oden. Who do you think is the greatest Nba player that was picked number 1 in the draft?? For me, I think it is Allen Iverson, although he did not win any championship trophy but I would consider him as the greatest small player that ever grace the NBA. Standing only 6'0 I think he is the shortest player to be picked number 1 in the draft. With his superior basketball he can always score at will, earning 4 scoring title and winning an MVP, he is I think the smallest player to achieve this feat.
