I do not like taking test anyway I prefer to answer multiple choices type of examination. It gives me an opportunity to guess if ever I really don't know the answer. What I dislike the most is the essay type of test. I spend much time thinking of what to write and and much time worrying about my grammar. How about you?

Multiple choice is the type I like the most because you can just eliminate things you know are wrong out of the answers. I hate short-answer questions because I'm the type that gets lost for words and I sometimes get it wrong. Like I know what the answer is but I get it wrong because I don't know how to put my ideas/thought on paper.

It is really hard to put your ideas in papers especially if you are not inclined in writing and with the language you are to be using with. That was my experience years before, especially when we have to write our ideas in English.

I am not agree with you because when I was in college I also prefer more to objective type exams but our college was not prefer it and we have to give subjective type exams forcefully.Later we realize later that it was good for us that we gave subjective type exams because it clear our basics about our subject and muc more.Believe me subjective type exams are more profitable for our careers.

Hello, I am a big fan of multiple choice questions and answers as you know for a fact that the correct answer is going to be staring you in the face. When it comes down to mathematical questions I was always told even if you dont get the right answer aslong as you show you understand how to solve the problem you will still gain marks, it all helps. Have fun and pass everything you do.

Thanks Haddowz. When it comes to math test, I do trial and error method sometimes. It is true that when you understand the problem you will know some strategies on how to deal with it.

I would rather answer multiple choice questions. They make it easier if it's going to be a long test as I can only remember some things before hand. I study but my mind goes blank sometimes right as I am taking the test. I had an experience one time in High School that made me think about things. We had a test and the teacher had told us to read the whole thing before answering any questions. I didn't and ended up answering all of the questions until I got to the last one and it said to put my name on the test and turn it in blank. Made me rethink how I approach things. Only 1 kid got it and we laughed because he turned his in within the first 5 minutes of the testing. He read ALL of the instructions and signed his name and turned it in. We thought he was being a smart alec. I am more careful with the multiple choice tests now. I read it all the way through and then answer.

It happened also when I was teaching. One of my students answered right away the questions without reading the directions and what happened is that he got a low score. It is a must to be careful in everything we answer and read directions carefully or else we might failed or got a low grades.

I like objective type when there's going to be description of something and I would have to write the word. I like that type of test cause its challenging for me. I hate multiple choices cause they are so confusing. Its the hardest type of exam I can think of.

i like multiple choice questions better in certain subjects, and open ended questions better in others. it just depends on whether it is math/science or the humanities....

Multiple Choice type of test is the standard type of test. That is what kind of test I always did when I was teaching.
