How can I block a page from showing up in google results??

So I have a myspace and a facebook, but I don't want people (like potential employers) to be able to find my pages by googling me. I don't think that it is fair at all for them to judge my work abilities based on that sort of thing. I was trying to look it up, but I really suck at computers, so it didn't make sense to me. Any computer geniuses want to help me out?

you've got to check out the individual setting on those sites. like for facebook, there is an option to make sure that you don't appear in searches and stuff...
explore it a bit, there are many other things that can be useful for you in you situation :)
