Do you have a television programme called 'Dragons Den' in your country.

This light entertainment programme started several years ago in Japan, a very novel concept for it's time. It attracts all walks of life to pitch there money making ideas to a group of very smart entrepreneurs. These businessmen and women who strive to make profits from risk and initiative can be very ruthless.
Very rarely do you get a truely innovative novel idea that catches the contemplation of the 'Dragons' but it does happen.
I know this programme is shown in Britain , Italy, Spain, Japan (where it all started), and Australia.
Is it shown in your country and does it entertain you. ?

Hi HADDOWZ. I guess I am lucky as I get to see the Irish version and the British version of the show when they are on. The Irish version has not been going as long as the British one and I have noticed that the Dragons have completely different attitudes on each version of the show. The Dragons on the Irish on just seem a little too nice and not very cutting with their comments especially if someone has a terrible idea. I prefer the British Dragons because I think they are ruthless with what they say and they do not suffer fools gladly, which makes for some great television even if it makes me cringe a little sometimes.
