Have you been called a spoiled brat just because you're the only child?

Being the only girl, my parents gave the best for me. They sacrificed a lot for me to have a future. They provided me all my needs and wants however, my cousins even some of my friends called me a spoiled brat at times. Honestly, I hate them when they call me that way because I know that I am not. I grew up having the things I wanted and that makes them think my parents spoiled me. Though I easily get the things I wanted, I was never abusive to my parents. I know how to say "no" and "stop" to myself. When my parents gave me what I wanted, it's because I've worked hard for it. I did well in school and that's all my parents wanted, so I guess it's just fair that I'm giving them back what they deserve since they gave a lot for me.
