As we live in a world where money means almost everything I am interested how many hours per day you guys and girls spend working?Do you manage to earn enough for living and doesn't all that work make you miss the most interesting moments of life?I know we need money but some of us don't even have enough time to spend them. Are you one of these people?

I only work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I think I'm earning enough, maybe more than enough and I'm not that workaholic so I don't miss any interesting moments in my life. The key is work - life balance. Life should not always be work. Get out. Have fun. Make your life interesting.

the required hours for one shift for us is 7.5 hours, however, we almost have to do overtime everyday. so most of the times, my shift lasts for about 9 to 10.5 hours.
well, my earnings are enough for me. i tend to spend enough and save a little of my savings so i'd say that my salary's enough for me, for now. but of course, i would not complain if it gets raised :) i do miss the most interesting moments of my life, especially in my line of work. i work in an airport so i don't get weekends off and holidays are pretty much useless to us (aside from the double pay benefits). whenever there are gatherings of friends or family, i miss it because i have to work. it's also hard to file for vacation leave so i really do miss a lot.
i''m probably one of these people, although not really by my choice. right now, i'm just sticking to it because it's not practical to resign when i don't have anywhere else to work yet.

I do at least 4-5 hours of work everyday, more if things are rushed. Doing freelance work changed my perception of time; time really *is* money if you don't have a stable job. There are a lot of benefits to doing gigs like this and, at least until I graduate, I really won't be looking for another 9-5 job again.
