If you are from US try Associated Content, they give upfront payment for every article you create and earn passive income when more people view your work. I think its about $1 every thousand views. I do not now any article submission site where you are being paid. I used article submission site to acquire backlinks for my blog.

There are already a lot of sites already established online which are meant mainly for the purpose of serving two things. They are :- 1. Providing Backlinks 2. Earn money for every article you submit. Bukisa is really a great place where you can just publish a relevant article and earn for certain amount of page views your published article receives in the long run.If you have a large network of friends, then you don't need to worry about the so called page views. You will get it soon. Additionally, it is a great source of passive income. I mean, you will get paid as long as your article stays online without any negative reputation or flagship. AssociatedContent.com is yet another site that pays you an amount ranging from 2$ to 15$ for every article you publish. But you should follow their guidelines (somewhat strict) in every article you publish there. This payment is called upfront payment. There is another way through which you can get money. That is, Performance payment. For the completion of certain number of pages, your account will be credited with certain amount of money. Sites like Ezinearticles.com are meant for the purpose of serving backlinks to the primary pages. This is a great tool if you intend to increase traffic to your URLs or pages of your niche site. Moreover, these types of sites are more often used rather than "pay per article" based services.
