I absolutely adore British Bulldogs. I don't know what it is about them, they're very cute and their attitude is fantastic. I think they're ideal as family pets, because they're adjustable (won't get jealous if a new baby arrives!), loyal, easy going and kinda lazy, which is useful if you don't have the time/energy to walk your pooch everyday. Saying that, we have a border terrier at home, and he has a very calm outlook. I know this is what most people think of their animals, but I'm sure he thinks he's human. In general, dogs are just great :)

I think Yorkies are the best breed of dog. They are adorable and have wonderful personalities.

What constitutes best? Border Collies are the most intelligent and they are also beautiful, loyal, affectionate, natural athletes, keen and tireless. all the best urban

It would depend on not only your personal preference but what you want the dog for. Pits are good...if they're raised right. Labs, dobies, shepherds, rotties are also good dogs. I have a cur dog who has an exceptionall loud bark because her breed is used mainly for hunting. She is black and her bark is deep. She's the best breed for us to have right now because we live in the country and, if she hears something, she scares it away with her bark. We have panthers and other big cats down here so we like the fact that she keeps them away.

I'd say Labradors are pretty cool as far as copanionship goes. Very very loyal
