This summer, our neighbor ‘flock’ together, stays together…lol! And what do you mean by ‘flock’? Bingo! You got it right! Bingo! They play bingo outside their houses… I thought at first they want to play bingo because it is hot inside their homes and they want to conserve electricity… It’s their favorite past time… And to those who have money, bingo at SM malls near their homes. Its air conditioned and has high stakes… My father usually goes to his ‘office’ (means Bingo at SM) 3 or 4 times a week… Of course he has the money… My neighbor flock together starts at I think before 9 in the morning and have their lunch before 12 in the afternoon… Then after that you’ll hear the box rattling again past 1 o’clock until around past 5 o’clock… Someone will start again around 8 then when do you think they will finish? The rattling stops past 2 in the morning! Mind you! Sometimes they will finish around 3 if it’s a Friday or Saturday evenings… I don’t know… Why am I not into playing Bingo… I once played last year and during that time I always lost… But in the last game, which is Full Block I think that’s what they call it wherein all the numbers in your bingo card must be filled up, I won! Hehe…Then after that, the money that I’ve won were gone in just less than an hour because as I said, I always lost… Now, its 10 in the morning and I can hear the rattling again… And I can say really they are bingo addict… Are you?

Oh, you're lucky there that your neighbors go home for lunch.. Here in our place, the addicts stay put and wait for the snack lady to come by and sell food. lol!!! I used to play back when I was younger, back in high school. I remember when I first started with my very first card, the first four balls that came out gave me a bingo.. It's unbelievable but maybe it's beginner's luck. After that I haven't had much luck so I stopped. lol.. Bingo here in our place isn't all about winning money.. Sometimes the bingo lord put on the pot a kilo of meat or a chicken. Bets in each card depends on the item on the pot..

Are you my neighbor? you know you describe your neigborhood just like it mine. My neighbors spend their day playing bingo. Even at the wee hours they are playing and they are shouting the number really really loud eventhough it is 2am in the morning. Bingo is really addicting to person who don't have priorities, if you are bored and you are not doing anything why not try to play bingo, you will surely entertain . What I just hate are those selfish neighbor that are still noisy during the night, because every human being needs to sleep and I do not understand why they can't or don't.

Hi Portisray! Here I have seen my neighbors gathered for session of "Tongits" hehehe...But not bingo. I don't know how to play bingo or tongits. I played bingo once, but I also lost. I was wondering by the way how do you play at SM. Is there a specific amount to pay? And do you really have to bring a marker? Or is it provided? I am very puzzled about it. Isn't it too noisy when they get together for bingo? (^^,)

Hello Aphroditei! I'm sorry I'm not into bingo playing specially at SM. I once played at Makati Cinema Square with a friend when I was in college but I already forgot their rules... I think you have to bring your own marker since my father has a lot of disposable markers here. And no, they were not too noisy... They are serious and only the card number caller speaks a little louder. But they loiter inside our compound!

Hi Portisray! I was amazed how colorful and very huge those markers are... That's why I was wondering about it. I can imagine that they are very serious about it. Because you wouldn't want to miss a number and fail to shout: "Bingo!!!" Hopefully, no spooky individuals would be loitering around too and while in the confusion of "Bingo!!!" Break in one your neighbor's home, especially if they are all gathered up in one place. (^^,)
