Yay! New 5K PR!

I didn't run a flat 26 minute 5K like I wanted to, but considering the cold, I think coming in a little over 30 seconds over that is pretty good. Especially since that's still a PR by over a minute. Now I'll have to run another without a cold.

Congrads! I agree, running without a cold would be great!

Thanks! Yeah, I think I may do a 10K though before doing another 5K. Just because now I feel like I could do so much better on the 10K than I did before.

That is awesome Pigglies. I am overweight and have done four 5ks. I walk/run them. My best time is 53:30. I have improved each time that I raced so that is good. Good luck on your next race.

That is pretty good! My mom does the run/walk thing and her fastest 5K was 56 minutes so far. So far I have still improved on each 5K as well out of the 4 I raced (I did a 5th one for fun too that I wasn't racing, just helping to pace someone). I think it is so much fun to improve. I'm going to be sad whenever I stop improving, but hopefully by then I'll at least have another joy like winning age group awards or something. That would be awesome, I've never won anything yet. Good luck on your next race too! I bet you'll break 50 minutes soon.
