Share are your thinking,ideas and tips to save the WORLD from GREEN HOUSE EFFECT

My opinion is if everyone in earth are putting a little afford at the same times, it will bring a lot of different and definitely will reduce the global warming. For example, when we stop our car a side and wait for someone, instead of let the car engine on, why don't we off the engine. Just a simple action will save our mother earth.

like almost everything, green living starts at home. try the 3 R's: reuse, reduce, recycle items and materials in order to reduce and acquire more waste. avoid using non-biodegradable materials too. be more energy efficient by using energy-saving CFLs for lights, turn off and unplug appliances not in use. it is also important also to research and read more on green-living.

Saving the world should start from you and me. Be responsible enough to love yourself first, and then by loving yourself you will be able love the world and the people around you. Until then, you can start taking care of the environment. You can start at home. Try to conserve energy. Switch off your computers when not in use. Segregate bio degradable to non-biodegradable materials. Start planting trees to save the world. Save the world one moment at a time.

Hi achoo and welcome to mylot, I agree with screwdriver. If we all do what we should, our Earth can be saved. But I think everyone is waiting for the neighbor to begin. We are lazy and we forget of the planet we will leave to the next generation. I have seen that we must have economical problems to start thinking about being more careful with the enrgy we waste and the food we throw away. In many countries, people heat their houses more than they should in order to wear summer clothes inside the house. The use os warmer clothes would save energy and would be better for our health. Our body doesn´t like central heating or air conditioning. Just imagime how much we would save by just living in an appropiate house without excess heating ot AC! I see once in a while that TV show where they build a new house for a family that has had some problems in the US. It´s a wonder how thy make a house in a week, the family and neighbord cry when they move the bus. I cry too. But the house is always absurdly rich and big. No need for that anywhere in the world. The main room at any of those houses is bigger than the ship that brought Columbus when he discovered America. OMG!!! Let´s all start being thrifty, let´s all recycle what comes to our hands, let´s teach our children to do the same and the planet will be saved.
