the reaearchers think the dreams are a sign that unconscious parts of the brain are working hard to process information about the task or the problem. dreams may be a marker that the brain is working on the same problem at some levels. in theory, the dreams might reflect the brain's attempt to find associations for the memories that could make them more useful in the future. so remember your dreams, maybe it's useful for you some day.

That's right. I also listened that dreams are the door to keep out all thoughts which rest in subconscious, thoughts we usually don't realize during the day and a dream in the meantime we sleep is the only exit those thoughts have to come up. I don't remember all dreams I had when I wake up, but some of them I remember well as some of them seem to be more important than others. Sometimes it seems that some dreams want to give me a message to take care of, something I should realize or change in my live, for example an important decision I should take.

sometimes i do remember them vividly, sometimes just a couple of scenes, but sometimes i dont at all. i've read somewhere it depends on how ell you have slept and at what "stage" you were in when you wake up. if it is in the REM stage where you're dreaming, then probably you'd remember. if its in the stage of deep sleep where dreams get erased then you dont remember them when you wake up.

remember your dreams - how to remember dreams and what's the benefits of remembering dreams
i've found some benefits why you should remember your dreams. Your dreaming mind has access to vital information that is not readily available to you when you are awake. Your dreams may reveal your secret desires and subconscious feelings. In remembering your dreams, you will gain increased knowledge, self-awareness and self-healing. Dreams are an extension of how you perceive yourself. They can be a source of inspiration, wisdom, joy and overall improved psychological health. Learning to recall your dreams may help you become a more assertive person. By remembering your dreams, you are expressing and confronting your feelings. Dreams can help guide you through difficult decisions, relationship issues, health concerns, career questions or any life struggle you may be experiencing. Remembering your dreams can help you come to terms with stressful aspects of your lives. A dream is recalled most easily if we awaken during it or immediately after it ends. If more than a few minutes lapse at the end of a dream, we risk oneirolysis (the forgetting of the dream) - but if we awaken too soon before the dream stops, we might miss an important part of it. as for me, i sometimes remember my dream sometimes not. there were also times that i don't know why i dreamed that thing, and i don't know how to figure out what's the meaning of it.and it amazed me by the benefits of remembering dreams.well, i don't know how i can start figuring out things by myself!

I think that there is interference between dreams ,new dreams do often interfere with the dreams in front, although there are several dreams in a night ,but woke up early and often remember only the last dream recently, this generally meet the pepople's drem experience. happy mylot!

it depends, some dreams may just removed from ur mind when you wake up.. But some dreams will be continuity and repeatly which some of my friends do experienced on this. However based on medical research, when you have dream it means that you are not have quality or deep sleep. the next morning, you will feel more tired

Hi, When we sleep we normally undergo two different phases. In one phase the sleep is very deep and our eye movement stops. We don't dream in this phase. Its as if our mind totally rests in this phase. Now there is this other phase where our eye balls move very slowly. We dream this time. Now, if a man wakes up in this lighter phase of sleep, he will remember what he dreamed and may be quite vividly. But if he wakes up in one of those deep-sleep-zone, he will not remember anything. Dream is the reflection of all the residue we have in our subconscious mind. When we sleep our conscious mind relaxes and subconscious mind takes control. When we are awake we can't dream as the conscious mind stays dominant. Thanks God bless you

Wow, I never thought of it that way. To answer your question, yes I do remember my dreams sometimes, but other times I don't. I actually don't like the feeling of not remembering it no matter how hard I try. I only get flashbacks but I can't really recall the whole dream.
