I remember when I was young (a few years ago now
) that every second or third Sunday my family would go for a picnic. We went to the same place all the time. There was never anything to do there it was just a big grass field with parking facilities. The food that was packed was always the same, sandwiches, crisps, diluting juice etc. And we left the house at the same time, followed the same route and then returned at the same time. At the time I really hated Sunday picnics, they were so boring, at least to an 8 year old they were.
But thinking about it now I think I actually miss them, what I would give just to escape to the country, find a quiet stop and relax for a few hours, (no mobile phones allowed).
Am I alone in thinking this way.

An awesome idea indeed. Oh to be a child again.
Life passes us all by far to fast, and it shows no sign of slowing down either. I suppose we just have to get on with what we have.

I remember too. When I was young we had two days off at school and we always made plans with my friends at school. We were a bunch staying nearby like neighbors and we always decided Sunday as a cycling day. I stayed near mountain foot so we had plenty of grazing lands around. We packed little lunch boxes and grabbed cycles and went for cycling and catching butterflies. It was so much fun to play on grass and lying down reading picture books. Play games.
I really miss my childhood days. I really wish sometimes to take a long walk with someone very close to me. Going to the same fields and lands lying down gazing sky and butterflies and birds. I wish so deeply to feel free watching the sky lying on a green grass bed

Thats the problem sweetie. We just have to keep up so we don't get left behind. TATA.
