When you so stressed out and tired of work, what do you usually do to remove and free yourself from stress? I have been stressed out lately and need some of your inputs on how to get rid of it. I usually go to a massage spa and have a whole body massage. We have one spa here who caters whole body massage, sauna, and steam bath. Plus there is also a buffet included at a very cheaper price. Though I cant afford going to that spa every week. Your suggestions and ideas are very much appreciated.

Stress affects everyone in different ways. Some people show their anxiety outwardly, while others are able to repress it from the outside world for a while at least. While it is true that people have varying thresholds for stress and that it manifests itself differently for each person, there are certain telltale signs of anxiety. Some of these signs are behavioral and some are physical. Here are five of the ways stress typical manifests itself on the human.

same here, a whole body massgae is what i usually do when i am stress. Its really effective since it helps me get rid of my stress and feel relax. I can't afford myself to go to spa very often so my alternative is a whole body massage from a local massager in the neighbor. Another thing i do when i'm stress is that i go to beach and walk in the sand bare foot, relax and feel the cold breeze, listening to the sound of the waves makes me relax and eat my comfort food which is the seafood particularly crabs.

Hello Screw. I feel for you. I know that going to the spa may be expensive and going there every week is not really cost-efficient. As for me, after work, I go for a long walks or jogging. I find them very therapeutic. I also bought some good aroma therapeutic candles and put them in my room. There's also a masseuse here for a very low fee. They are the traditional masseuse you go to when you have sprain. I also buy good drinks like Swiss Miss or Hot tea. It's relieving. Also, hot baths are the best!

Well, in my opinion, sleep is the best stress reliever there is, right? When you sleep, your whole body relaxes, and upon waking up, you're already energized. :) Another stress reliever is watching movies or series. It's also very relaxing. Just sit down on the couch or lie down on the bed and watch. :D Taking hot showers could also help or going to the beach. :)

I think sport is a good way for stress reliever. I like swimming. That why when i feel stress or something make me not happy. I will go for swim. As hard as i can. Make myself very tire then take a good rest. I feel better every time i did this. You can try.

I don't see anyone else who does what I do. I am a little hesitant to discuss it but I will. I have a smoke and take a walk on the beach. I am fine as long as the police don't smell me. Usually the breeze from the ocean is more than enough to cover up my own emanations. After which I am usually quite relaxed. We have a massage parlor here as well, several in fact. It just isn't always affordable to go. But for about $60- 80 dollars an hour you can get a great massage.

i listen to music and i'd either play some air guitar or dance (yeah i dance to heavy metal music), not perfectly choreographed dancing though. i'm not athletic, i don't play any sports, i don't really exercise regularly so dancing is like the only physical activity i can do to sweat. once exhausted and all sweaty from dancing, i'm relieved of stress. not to mention, i cool down whenever i hear some music.

I guess I don't go on the relaxing route when I try to relieve stress. I like getting physical - like working out or dancing. I especially like turning on my favorite music and dancing around like a fool - plus you get exercise at the same time. Stretching and doing pseudo yoga help too. Concentrating on physical activities seem to help keep my mind off things . . . plus relieve all the bodily tension. I would love to go to a spa - but yah, that can be expensive!

When I'm stressed, I like to be alone. That way, I don't stress out other people which will just make things worse. I like being quiet, and most of the time I just sleep on what's bothering me at the moment. If I am stressed about the heat in our country though, I take showers or just dive in a nearby pool. In general, yea, I like keeping myself from the rest of the world, or I just binge eat. At least that way, I find something I enjoy (food). If I feel bad about the calories, I quote Elle Woods from Legally Blonde: "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.." :)

I just indulge on my favorite food and take a rest. I also watch movies and hang out with friends. If you share your concerns with others your burden somehow lightens.

The best stress reliever for me is sleeping. Its free and it charges my body back to great condition. Next would be playing DotA but this sometimes add more stress in me when I lose :D. Eating my favorite food is also a great stress reliever for me. I haven't tried whole body massage and spas. Maybe I'll try it some time.

I personally love taking warm baths. They are great stress relievers for me. In the summertime, I like swimming and this is something that relaxes me and relieves stress. It's good for exercise as well.
