sick in the mind, sick in the head.! why do some people abandon innocent babies?

just the other day i saw another news report of an abandoned baby being rescued from storm drain. the baby was found tied up in a plastic bag and left to die in the storm drain...i won't go into the details, because it makes me sick to even recall it
what's wrong with the world today? what's wrong with some people? if the parents don;t want the baby, there are other people who are more than willing to care for them! how do you take care of a problem like this?
i think they're just sick in the mind and sick in the head.. hopefully you don't have such people wherever country that you're from...

Sorry sweetie, but here it is worse and i won't make it worse my telling you what these people can do to babies. Unfortunately we live in a sick world and that we cannot change. No matter how hard we try. TATA.

if i were the one in charge of things in the world...i know where to put people who are guilty of such a hideous crime..

it's a terrible waste of life

the thing is Mario, we don't have compassion within ourselves anymore.Come to think of it, how can one carry life for 9 months just so that it can be thrown away???they are not ashamed of carrying it all those time,but ashamed to keep it.

yeah...maybe it's true. maybe we really don't have compassion anymore within ourselves. just shame, shame and more shame...
but i still say that those people who succumb to shame that they place upon themselves are just plain idiots. dare to do, but don't dare to go through what happens. and most of the time it's the guys who are the culprits makes me ashamed to call myself a man, if a man can stoop so low as to throw away an innocent life who is incapable of defending itself & speak for itself..
what a pity that this is the world we live in today..

If a person doesn't want the baby they can take it to a hospital,a firestation or police station and give the baby up! No questions ask! I think people are scared,stupid,confused and probaly mentally unstable when they abandon babies! Alot of times the pregnance wasn't planned and unwanted. It not a good situation but it will continue until people wake and do the right thing!

exactly! there are so many ways to properly 'give up' a baby. just because the parents are scared is no excuse to abandon a baby and hope for it to die. it's just not right..people really do have to wake up to this sad thing thats happening today..

I think there is alot more of this kind of thing going on than we get told about and there are alot of people out there that do this and they have no regets or concience.Like you say there are alot of people out there that would have the baby so why leave it to die or even kill it.There are places like hospitals that they could leave it or if they knew they were pregnant there are clinics they can go to that will end the pregnancy for them.

governments should make it part of what we learn in school.. i believe that if people were educated & exposed to the cause and effect of such decisions, there is a chance that more innocent babies can be saved before they are even conceived..
sometimes when we think about it, it's such a waste of life when things happen like the way it is today..*sigh..

out of desperation i guess? what is more sickening are those who abandon babies in waste bins, on the streets, or in other places where the babies are sure to die. why not just bring them in government services right?
most sickening are those who try to abort their unborn kids and do gruesome ways in disposing them: flushing in toilets, leaving them in churches (yep, saw them on the news!), trash cans, etc.
truly sickening and sad at the same time.

yes..it really is sickening! and yet we have the gall to call ourselves 'civilized' beings..
even if the babies are not wanted, couldn't the parents at least give them up to a proper home, or at the very very least to the hospital or authorities? some people can be so afraid about social repercussions that they don't even stop to think about that fact that the baby is a living breathing being too! the baby did nothing to deserve such cruel actions upon it..
it really is sad..

Yes there are people who are like that and these people are ashamed of what they do that is why they don't care if the baby will die while being stored in a plastic. They don't care if the baby will suffocate because of no air inside it. They were murderers. You are right to tell they have ill disease in the head. They don't have conscience. They don't fear God either. No one will see what their secrets are but God seen it all. Why not being pregnant in the first place if they can't be responsible with their own child?

Stories like this saddens me. Their are a lot of couples that would want to have a child but they are not bless with one but here are parents who are blessed with a child but they got the heart to kill their own flesh and blood. If they don't like the baby they could have looked for a family to adopt the baby or leave the baby in an orphanage. There was this news in my country that a newly born baby was thrown by the mother outside the taxi window. I don't know where their heart is at. Don't they feel guilty about it? Children are blessings no matter they are out of sinful act but they are not made out of accident they are planned by God.
