Friends now India haslost their second match in the group , and they are on the verge of exit. They performed poorly against Austarlia and west indies. And they will have to play against Sril lanka in the last match. Their semifinal berth will depend on lot of permtations and combinations with good run rate.If west indies loose their match against australia, and india must defeat sri lanka with good margin. Today we hope sri lanka lose the match very badly. Then only India stands it chance. So what o you feel their poor performance is because of one month long ipl and Indian players are just burn out. What's your say

I believe when things do not go right, one starts to find out the reasons to explain the situation. But, to be honest the poor Indian performance can be attributed to a couple of factor, and these would be weakness against short-pitched bowling and lack of quality fast bowlers. Its easy to remember how the Indian players were caught off-guard against short stuff even in the IPL and that continues to be a major weakness. Also, since India do not have quality in their bowling, Dhoni has had to rely on his spinners to do the task which has backfired in both the super-eight games. Anyways, hopefully the luck would shine on India in the last round of matches.

There must be and always be some reason behind the poor performance of indian team. Now they have lost the third and final league match, the are out of the tournament. The reason you have given are right

Too much cricket on indian pitches is causing harm only rather benefiting the team. Indian pitches are batsmen friendly and after they are plauing in fast pitches. Result was on the air but we were not looking them

IPL has affected Indian players. BCCI has to take care before arranging the matches so that the players are not over tired. The players should get enough rest. BCCI should concentrate on Indian circket team attending international matches more seriously compared to internal matches. They should pay attention to the performance of the team internationally than making money through cricket.

Performance of Indian players is not upto the standard. They are tired and still BCCI is planning new matches, It's okay that they are resting senoirs players and giving chance to new players . this is good sign for the new players

why not? its mainly due to the IPL. we lost sehwag due to IPL, was he injured before ipl? actually gambir is fully fit, thats a fact, indian team management is hiding it, otherwise gambir would have been the captain for future indian team instead of raina.its also due to ipl that we lost the consistency of gambir. all the problems come from ipl, indian won the first world cup, because before that there was no ipl, and when ipl came into the scene indian team is perfomance has gone down in international cricket. well what will happen when 94 matches will be played by diiferent teams in next ipl?

Definitely next year will be very important for indian cricket because BCCI WILL BE Making more money but cricket will suffer . There will new faces will have their share of fame and name, and players will become more prone to injuries

The major problem with IPL I thought was injuries. We lost the best opener viru because of it.And the homework what the other teams did against our team is what we missed.Due to the tight schedule there were no warm up matches. the other thing is Jadeja lost match practice in IPL because of some reasons and he had to pay the cost.So I think there should be enough gap between IPL and International tournaments.

Yes , so instead of jadeja we could have picked some inform players . for example Robin uthappa would have been better option.
