7 pm. kinda shady in my book. why only come up with this change now? i understand that this gives more registered voters a chance to cast their votes but comelec should have already thought of this prior to today's elections. want to hear everyone's thoughts on this decision by COMELEC. discuss.

i think this decision to extend the voting hours has a lot more to do with the problems encountered by having this computerized voting system for the first time . they just said so otherwise.

it's just that the commission didn't anticipate a lot of problems. they concentrated on the machine but not the number of voters who came in bulk.

good point there! must be the novlety of voting in the first automated elections that encouraged voters to go out and vote.

yeah, what up with that sudden change?? i hope my thoughts are wrong on this one... i'm still hoping it will be a decent election this time (although the odds are really low..come on...can you blame me for being such a pessimist on this one?)

I think they should extend it for a day.
