hi keval32, nice question my friend.. when i observe some of the discussion here on mylot.. there are some discussions that are not just 10-20 responses it depends on the topic.. if the topic is very intriguing then some users response on this discussion... it really depends on the preference of some users.. i am also having difficulty in making a discussion that would attack many mylot users.. the most that i got is 53 responses...

Yes, that does in fact seem like a logical enough estimate of the number of responses that an average topic receives on this website. Slightly more in many cases, slightly less but on average, that seems like a pretty good estimate. At least for my more popular topics, I have had my share of bombs here and there, as I am sure many others have.
I think there are times where I have received a bit more than this number of posts. Then there are times where I saw a lot more. However that is about the number that I have seen on average. Of course, that's just in my experience. I am sure that others would disagree with me for various reasons. Still on average, that sounds about right.

I am still new in here but I suppose that the number of response you may recieve in a discussion depends on the title you put in and the theme you want to discuss. Interests are quite different and members are international, so as more interesting your discussion, more people will answer you. So if you would like to get more response and increase participation, try to write a more interesting title and explain well the discussion. Also answering to the response you recieve may help you to get more participations.
