Do the Internet Gurus Make You Angry?

When I think of all the gurus' advice I have signed up for over the years and all the good it has ever done me, I get really angry. Is there anyone here with a good word to say for these guys? Or are they just universally despised, like politicians? Is there some kind of Newbie warning we can put together "This Guy Canseriously Damage Your Mental Health, and Probably Your Wealth as Well"?

The "Gurus" play the game of " I Know Something You Don't Know" better than anyone else on the internet. They convince people that they know some sort of "magic formula" and they gladly charge you dearly to share that information with you. Once you receive the so called "magic formula" you find it's just a bunch of generalized garbage or it was something you could have found out for free with some research. That's how these guys really make their money. Not a very good way to get repeat customers.

Exactly. Each one has a silver bullet that will solve all your financial problems, or so they would have you believe. their repeat customers come from their psycology and carefully crafted autoresponder emails that keep coming for years and years after you first sign up.
