When you are abroad, who do you miss the most- the family or...???

I have never been abroad long enough to misss anyone. I would probably miss my friends first. I would probably wish they could experience somethings with me. I have a very small family, and the only one I am close to is my mother. I have a brother, but we have not spoke in years. He lives out of town and doesn't travel much. We just don't agree on a lot of things.

Hi phoenix! You are just full of wonderful discussion topics! Wish you could send some my way, only kidding! I miss my boyfriend, Star and Luna, my furbabies (cats) the most! I definitely miss my cats the most because they don't understand why "Mommie" isn't there and get so depressed! They hate it when I take a shower and close the door!lol They cry outside the door until they "see me"! So when I go on vacation (to Florida to see my Mom) they really are upset! I call them on the phone and my boyfriend puts me on "speaker" so they hear me and look all around getting upset because they "hear" their "momma", but can't see me! It just breaks my heart! I am hopefully going to see my Mom next month. I hate to leave my boyfriend, although he loves when I'm gone and come back with an incredible tan!lol But, as I have to see my Mom, like it or not, leave my "boys" and can lay out in the Florida sun, swim in the pool and shop till I drop with Mom paying a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!lol

I don't miss home or the family when I'm traveling. I only start missing them when I am on the return trip.

Hello again my friend. I feel very good today although I hope it still Sunday, so I can take a rest for another day. Yeah I will miss my family most, because no one more closest to me more than my family. No one understand me better either beside them.

Most of the times when i am abroad i am going alone , but this is only recently because now i have my own job and i cann planify my vacations in order of my working programs and whenever i have the possibility to go and take vacations , but before i work we used to have spend out vacations in familly and when we ware gone in vacations abroad or even in the country side where we used to live i used to miss my friends since i had the familly along side me all the time of the vacation , but now because i get to take the most of my vacations alone , i get to feel more the missing of my familly first , because i often go with a few colleagues from work togheter in Tunisie , Senegal , and i get to take solo two times a month a weel-end mini-vacation to Amsterdam , since its only three hours away by train ; and i becamed almost addicted by that great town , and on thyat small period of time i dont get to feel that i miss neither familly or friends :) Have a great day dear friend.
