I am paying a cable bill each month and not getting the channels I want!!

Our landlords pay a satalite company $90 a month for their package. There are three houses that share this bill so we all pay $30 each a month.
Before they decided to trade satalite boxes with us, we were quite happy with the package we had. I had my music channels, hubby had his movies and my son had his cartoons and kids channels.
Now my music channels are gone, hubby still gets his movies but not the ones he liked before, and they took away my son's favorite children's channel.
I'm not sure why they did this but it's not right.
I want to ask them about it and I don't think I'm going to get a proper answer.
How would you approach the subject?

We got our old box back but the channels are not the same and are missing the original ones that we liked before. It feels like we're paying and paying these people and they are sitting back and enjoying the good life.. it makes me sick!

It's a sad thing. You know if you will complain like what I did, your cable company will just narrate to you the increase and other hidden charges that they are incurring with your favorite channels which have forced them to terminate their subscriptions to those channels.

I would tell them that my channels have changed and ask them if they know the reason for it and how you can fix the problem. If you are getting less than what you paid for you should pay less. What was the reason they switched out the boxes?

When they took the receiver, they replaced it with an High Definition one for about three weeks. They told us it was his parents and they were out of town so we said why not? High definition is cool. When we got the receiver, all the HD channels weren't working because the second satalite on our roof isn't hooked up right. So we just watched normal satalite.
When we got the receiver back we noticed that some of the channels were not there anymore that we liked before and three months later, it was worse.
