Even after the tremendous experience in the ipl, India is thrown out of the world cup, not even entering into the semi finals. What do you think the problems hauling the Indian team. Is it captaincy, lack of experienced players, bad performance of gambhir, yuvaraj etc etc??????

Mike Gatting exposed the weakness of Indian batting against short pitch deliveries in an earlier series. We could literally see how vulnerable our so called stalwarts have been against such bowling. Another factor is, our players are victims of a lot of hero worship. The commentattors, the media extol praises after praises for a one off performance. Then when the batsman goes on the field he assumes the airs and lives in that aura, tries to bat without any caution and perishes. They need right type of training. If they are number one side in the world, that was more due to the failure of the other teams. Barring three or four batsmen the rest of the players have not proved their reliablility. Without Jaheer Khan the pace bowling also seems weak. Much acclaimed Harbhajan is not able to deliver. The new string of spin bowlers is also not succeeding. Other teams seem to be practicing with specific aim to counter our bowling, which perhaps we are not doing. Captain alone can not be blamed.
