Resently, I have an important interview to do. But I have no idea how to do it. I want to ask for help to give me some advices. Here is the situation. This is the job in charge of the centralized management of foreign affairs. The person need to undertake the organization, coordination, communitation, reception and arrangement of international science and technology cooperation. There are 3 person to have this interview. The first girl has been worked for 5 years. She has P.H.D degree and good at translation. She has the experence to study in German for a while. The second girl has graduated from college for only one year. She is major in English and Japanese and good at written translation and communication. She has already assisted this appartment to do a lot of work. The third boy has master degree. He likes to do the foreign affairs and got the interpretation certification. If you are the interviewer, what kind of questions you want to ask these 3 employees? And which one you would like to employ? What kind of ability should they have for this job? please speak out freely!

Although the first girl and the third boy's resumes r eye-catching enough! But, if I was the interviewer! I would employ the second girl which u have mentioned! Reasons: Combining this position request, the ability of "organizing, coordination, communication" r highly needed! Thus, educational degree isn't a necessary factor, although she just graduated for 1 year, but as yr said, she is good at written translation and communication. As we known, sound ability of communication is worthy of high praise! Besides, she has already assisted this apartment to do lots of work alreay! This showing that she has already be in the position of that project, she must know more about this company than other ones!

I forget to mention that this is a interview in the company not the outside. These 3 person are all the employees of this company already. This is a competion in the company. I agree with you a lot. In the interview, I think personality and ability are also important parts for employees, not only the educational degree. But some person always think highly of educational degree and certificates.
