Do you trust online Universities? / myLot

There are many universities that claim you can get an accredited degree online in whatever field you want. How can I trust those universities? Where can I check if they are indeed accredited or not?

I know that the University of Phoenix is legit. Also, check with your local college and see if they offer online programs. Most colleges and universities do nowadays. My husband attends the University of Phoenix and is doing quite well.

I am taking a correspondence course from Stratford Career Institute with the option to work on paper and mail in exams and payments, or to submit everything online. I have chosen the online method, and for me it's worked quite well.

Never tried but I believe you can learned from them....
