Just thought I would share a view from my living room window with fellow myLotters. Not the most exciting of views or the best of pictures (my camera phone is very old). But it is where I live and I am happy where I am. Anyone else care to share a view from their room..

protected oak - the oak tree in my front yard
This is a view toward the oak tree in my front yard. It's protected and we can't cut it down or do certain things around it.

Well it looks beautiful to me. And I am very jealous of the clear blue sky. Not a cloud in sight, unless they are hiding behind the trees

It certainly is a very peaceful quiet place to live. I have been very lucky with this location. But it doesnt really matter where you live , it's what you make of it that really counts I feel. Have a smooth trouble free day...

Looks like a peaceful place to live in. I have no digital camera, but you can have a look at this web camera, it is the main street of our municipality.. http://webkamera.overtornea.se/local/viewer/webbkamera.htm If you check this in a few weeks, you will see our light nights. At summer solstice the sun never goes down - we live in a peaceful place too, near the Arctic Circle. Thanks for sharing your view.

Hello, Yes the area is very quiet, which is good. I tried using your link but it asked me to download some software to enable the webcam so I did not want to do this. I'm sure the download is perfectly safe though. Normally in the summer where I live the sun never comes up, just rains alot Have a great summer...

Front Window View Winter 2009 - This was taken after our first big snow last winter, the beginning of the EVIL winter, the bad, bad winter, the one I never want to see repeated! Oh, it was beautiful but, geez, over eight feet of snow is too much, ya know?
Here's the view from my living room window. Sorry I don't have one more recent; I'll have to take one soon without all the snow. This was the winter that never ended, or so we thought at the time, the evil winter of 2009/2010. Over eight feet of snow when less than one foot is normal. But, the view is spectacular. Even with the nasty winter, I wouldn't trade it for the world... unless we have another winter like this one next year. Then, I'm heading south... far, far south.

Hello, The picture looks really good, I like to see views with snow, they always seem to look more peaceful. But it's always nice to see the sun every now and then.. Have fun today...

Terrace and living room window - I took pictures of the work I did, in several moments. This one shows part of the end product.
Hi friend, Four years ago I upholstered the terrace pillows with my own hands. It was quite a job because my eyes and hands are not what they used to be. I was so proud that I took pictures of my job. Now, after 4 years, the pillows don´t have the bright colours that you can see in the picture as the sun bleached them. But I won´t do that job again for some time and that´s what cameras are for: to remember th beauty of other moments. Here goes my picture

hi Haddow Well if your proud of where you live more power to ya I feel the same way you do my house is not a royal mansion but its mine and I am glad to have it! Its nice to appreciate the things you accomplish in live especially when and if it was hard to get where you are now you can appreciate the journey and keep focusing on moving forward. By the way the view from my living room window is a road as well and I look out my window every single day
