Just thought I would share a view from my living room window with fellow myLotters. Not the most exciting of views or the best of pictures (my camera phone is very old). But it is where I live and I am happy where I am.
Anyone else care to share a view from their room..

This is a view toward the oak tree in my front yard. It's protected and we can't cut it down or do certain things around it.

We're on a hill with a little bit of a view. Now here is my mother-in-law's view...

Looks like a peaceful place to live in. I have no digital camera, but you can have a look at this web camera, it is the main street of our municipality..

If you check this in a few weeks, you will see our light nights. At summer solstice the sun never goes down - we live in a peaceful place too, near the Arctic Circle.
Thanks for sharing your view.

Hello,
Yes the area is very quiet, which is good. I tried using your link but it asked me to download some software to enable the webcam so I did not want to do this. I'm sure the download is perfectly safe though.
Normally in the summer where I live the sun never comes up, just rains alot

Here's the view from my living room window. Sorry I don't have one more recent; I'll have to take one soon without all the snow. This was the winter that never ended, or so we thought at the time, the evil winter of 2009/2010. Over eight feet of snow when less than one foot is normal.
But, the view is spectacular. Even with the nasty winter, I wouldn't trade it for the world... unless we have another winter like this one next year. Then, I'm heading south... far, far south.

Hi friend,
Four years ago I upholstered the terrace pillows with my own hands. It was quite a job because my eyes and hands are not what they used to be. I was so proud that I took pictures of my job. Now, after 4 years, the pillows don´t have the bright colours that you can see in the picture as the sun bleached them. But I won´t do that job again for some time and that´s what cameras are for: to remember th beauty of other moments.
Here goes my picture

hi Haddow
Well if your proud of where you live more power to ya I feel the same way you do my house is not a royal mansion but its mine and I am glad to have it!
Its nice to appreciate the things you accomplish in live especially when and if it was hard to get where you are now you can appreciate the journey and keep focusing on moving forward.
By the way the view from my living room window is a road as well
and I look out my window every single day
