I read the two Hunger Games books in about 2 days each because they were that good. Who do you think Katniss should be with? Peeta or Gale? Why? I honestly think should should be with Peeta for all that he has done for her. Gale has done a lot too so its a hard situation to pick between. I don't know, but for some reason I think she should be with Peeta.

I'm leaning towards Gale more. Katniss seems confused and I don't blame her. After all that she's gone through and everything that she will be going through yet, she needs someone to completely rely on. Book 2 doesn't really show Katniss loving Peeta all through out, and the awkwardness between the 3 kinda shows that. However, I can't deny that Katniss' affection for Peeta is very very apparent towards the end of Catching Fire. So. To keep me from going insane from choosing between Gale and Peeta for Katniss... I go outside of the triangle and create a square! I have a guilty pleasure of imagining Finnick ending up with Katniss. But this is just me.

Hi there! :) You read Hunger Games too! That's great. What's great about this book is that the story isn't the usual ones we see. :) It's very unique. Peeta or Gale? Hmm. Yes, it is hard to pick between them. Gale has been the best friend of Katniss ever since the beginning. He's been there all the way. On the other hand, Peeta has sacrificed so much for Katniss during their time in the games, and also he gave the bread to her, right? It's really hard to pick between them, but I go with Peeta too. He really loves Katniss very much and would sacrifice anything for her, even his own life. :) I've read Hunger Games and Catching Fire (the second book of Hunger Games). Will there be a third one??

I absolutely love the Hunger Games! I can't wait for the third book coming out this year! I really want Katniss to end up with Peeta. Like you said, he's done so much for her and he's been in love with her since he was little! I'm not about to get into any shipping wars though, I'm just hoping that everyone makes it out alive!

I've read all 3 books and I'd say that all were my favorites especially the first one, Hunger Games. I'm still so hooked that I'm rereading it at the moment. As for choosing Peeta or Gale, I'm all for Gale Hawthorne. I don't know but I usually like characters who are a little rebellious. But even if I like Gale, I think Peeta is perfect for Katniss. They balance each other out whereas Gale and Katniss are too much the alike to be together.

I read all three books within a week, and really enjoyed them. They were very easy reading, which maybe put me off a bit - They're clearly aimed at a younger audience. On the other hand, I like the plot as it's something a bit different. They quite reminded me of the Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras books by Scott Westerfield with the whole 'manipulated by the Capitol/city government, left in the dark about certain things, attempted rebellion'. I personally would say Peeta. My other half has just started the second book and so far would say Gale. But I think Gale eventually turns into this rebel obsessed person, who doesn't seem to care about too much else really. Peeta's life virtually revolves around Katniss, he's done so much for her, he's lost so much for her... Gale in comparison has known Katniss all his life and never really made a move until it was too late, and gets involved in the rebellion because he wants to. He's a bit...cold-hearted at times. Katniss and Gale are also too similar, they're both fiery individuals, and I think that'd quickly burn out, whereas Katniss and Peeta complement eachother well, without being total opposites.
