I never appreciated his way of playing, and I've watched him play for Juventus and Barcelona, teams I support. So for me, it's great news. I'm just sorry Barcelona gave away a fine striker like Eto'o for him.

Hi adhyz, I do not think Chelsea and Manchester City consider to buy Zlatan Ibrahimovic unless they were selling their current striker to make a room for Ibrahimovic. Currently, Chelsea has Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou as their striker while Manchester City has Emmanuel Adebayour, Carloz Tevez, Robinho, Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy. There is a rumor that Manchester United would like to make an offer for Nicolas Anelka but I do not think Anelka would consider it. He is happy with Chelsea and there is no reason for him to leave. Robinho would finish his time at Brazil and would come back to Manchester City after World Cup. So, Manchester City actually has more then enough striker in their squad. Their failure to qualify for Champion League also reduce the demand for additional striker for now.

Actually last year I was stunned by the business done by Barcelona in swapping Eto'o with Ibra. It really left me clueless as to what Barca was doing and this year they have really missed out the sharpness of Eto'o. Ibra has always been one who will score a few spectacular goals in the season, but not one on whom you can expect to deliver in the big games consistently. Eto'o on the other hand was proven big match player!! I am not surprised hearing this news. Actually I will be surprised if Chelsea do get involved in Ibra, but for City he might be a good buy especially if Bellamy and Tevez move elsewhere. Cheers! Ram

Mourinho came up with his version of transfer. If Ibra gets 15 chances with 2 very difficult chances, he will score those two and miss the remaining 13. On the other hand Eto'o will put 1 in every 2 chances that he has!! Cheers! Ram

no....Ibrahimvomic's tag price has went down now.. They bought him from Inter for 60 million pounds , where they sold Samuel eto'o to inter for 25 million pounds.. Even if they are ready to sell him for a lower price, City and Chelsea will never buy him.. Chelsea has- Anelka, Drobga, Essien, Cole as Forward runners or strikers, so they dont want to buy any more strikers.. City has - Tevez , Adebayor and Robinho ,s o they dont want to buy him as a striker.. If they buy then who will sit in the bench, for city?
